sometimes immediately, viscerally imagining a situation upon reading a text description, as if i'd actually experienced it, is a thing i've experienced a few times in the past year that i don't think i'd ever gotten before. fascinating thing
visceral is the key word here. the experience is in some respect closer to what you would call a flashback or a waking dream than it is to a… normally imagined scene. something about the description is sharp enough to briefly pierce the veil or whatever
