this is in fact one of the best arguments against eating the rich
someone linked me a 2019 documentary about the uk's bse epidemic, and now i am aware of the terrifying fact that the incubation period for prion diseases can be many decades; the late-1980's uk's cannibalistic animal rearing practices will claim victims for decades to come 🙁
@hikari I think the bigger problem is that it prevents people from donating blood
@hikari Also fun fact sperm is not allowed to be imported into the US for this reason
