what's messed up about having online friends who i then spend a while hanging out with irl is that after a while the memories blur together and i assume any thing i remember them telling me was in a logged communication channel and it starts bothering me that search can't find it
‪i am on the whole rather uncomfortable with the indefinite storage in cleartext of everything i ever say to anyone and fear what'll happen if certain companies have a change of leadership or my account is hacked, but search is definitely a very convenient thing to have ^^;‬
‪why do i attach such sigificance to the fact i cannot reliably remember what i was told verbally, in-person and what i was told in text… the fact my brain merges together two manifestations of the same person in different mediums is surely normal‬
