i hallucinate a smell, and then i'm suddenly transported back in time fifteen years or so to a particular place that once existed that i was in many times, and i remember so many details i would never normally remember about that place
‪should i… attempt to reconstruct that place from my memories only? should i include the extensions to it that only existed in a dream i had fifteen years or so ago? should i make this into a video game…‬
‪that, surely that is how i overcome my perfectionist streak in modelling a 3d environment. i can't return to this place to measure its dimensions or take new photos, and i have none of my own. all i have are memories, both real and imagined…‬
‪it would be very interesting to then let someone i know who has been in the same place experience the surreal memorised version. or, even better, for them to somehow come across it not knowing who i am‬
