that experience made me want to relisten to the whole album in the same way, and when that song came on again there was this magical moment where, walking through a familiar underpass, i was suddenly lost in the tiny illuminated rain droplets dashing through the air, like sparks
and so i just stopped where i was, and leaned back against the concrete wall, and let myself take it in. and it lasted about as long as the song itself did. the wonder
“turnaround (10th Anniversary Re-Recording)” btw. it just happened to be the only album downloaded to my potato android phone because i put it on there to test the 3.5mm output the other day
