i am endlessly fascinated and terrified by how the world of the guitarist is a world in which the shit keeping audiophiles awake at night is actually very real and can hurt you
this is about how the electric guitar is a ruthlessly analogue instrument. every single component in the signal chain has the potential to contribute to the sound, to absurd degrees. a world where you can't actually model resistance as zero or forget cables are capacitive ^^;
