ok so i knew about i-frames and b-frames but i just learned about p-frames. the video codec can time travel and use future frames to generate the present frame. also it can use several of them at once. what the fuck
oops swap those mentions of b-frames and p-frames

@hikari it's less confusing when you remember p-frames are predicted frames and b-frames are the bidirectional frames
i don't understand how b-frames work, though (i said less confusing, not understandable)
