one of those “a-ha” moments for me with guitar was discovering what happens if you play a string fretted and then quickly unfret it while it rings out. it's such a cool and uniquely “guitar” sound
however the way the other strings… sympathetically vibrate(?) when i do this is incredibly annoying. to employ this without losing my mind i'll have to heavily practice muting technique. spent the last half hour on that and all i have show for myself is small muscle fatigue ^^;
i think this is called a pull-off!
so that's how you play grace notes huh
