man it's so cool that after pripyat was permanently evacuated following the chernobyl disaster the ussr decided to simply build pripyat 2 (slavutych)
‪say what you will about the soviets they understood that cities are things you can just build. pripyat 1 was also a planned city that existed for the same purpose as pripyat 2 (housing chernobyl nuclear power plant workers)‬
