worked out that me potentially being temporarily double-taxed for most of last year's income (it's complicated) probably won't bankrupt me phew
‪not particularly excited by the prospect of effectively having to file taxes three times for the same year‬
‪who am i kidding, i am actually excited in some sense; i read tax law for fun sometimes. having the state owe me like a third of my savings back won't be much fun though
