for the record this was prompted by a pointless youtube short about how the telecaster can do everything. i mean. in the same way that any other electric guitar inspired by the telecaster (which is to say all electric guitars) can, yes, but that kind of goes without saying

but objectively there is no such thing as the electric guitar that does everything because every design is a compromise in some way
