jump to expanded postprobably going to soon actually pay money to have someone set up my main guitar properly. i know how to tweak the basic stuff, but i want someone to look at that high fret problem and that's not something i will attempt to fix myself…
thinking about how this might cost like, 15% of what i paid for the guitar… for a cheaper guitar the equation would look different. if you are going to have many guitars and have a lot of time then learning to do guitar setup oneself and investing in tools is perhaps cheaper
though i think this is mostly something to be done for one's own edification, and for that reason this does feel a bit strange of a thing to do, but… well, considering how much i already regret some of the small damages i've done to the other guitar, i probably shouldn't…
for better or worse i'm gonna have to learn to love the rock band 3 squier strat for a week or two! eheheh
