jump to expanded postwhy is the steam library storage management window so... broken. who thought it was a good idea to handle operations asynchronously with no visual feedback to acknowledge that the operation was started and nothing to prevent starting it multiple times
there's a dropdown with a list of drives that you have steam libraries on. i only had one (C:). i chose the "add" option (idk what the precise english translation is) and was surprised that it didn't seem to do anything. i tried it a few times.
... a minute later i found out why
(a dozen or two copies of the same drive-selection popup layered on top of eachother, all in exactly the same position, so you can't actually tell that this has happened until you close the first of them!)
and that's just the first step. the ui is just like this for the actual adding of the drive and for moving games between drives. honestly terrifying user experience, how do i know i won't start a move operation twice and cause a corruption or something. does it even prevent that
