jump to expanded posttricked myself into finally visiting denmark ehehehe
turns out there's an official Roland store here?! in MY neck of the woods???? excited
holy shit this really is a cyclist's city, there's a veritable flood of them along the roadways, makes my part of sweden seem not cyclisty and that's quite an achievement considering i live in a city that might have as many cycle paths as it has footpaths and roads
flood might be an exaggeration but there's possibly more cycle throughput than cars going on
if i took a shot every time a cyclist passed me here in copenhagen i'd be dead before you could finish saying “temporarily re-introduced intra-schengen border controls”
fucked up how they made a far bigger and denser version of malmö with strange spelling of wørds on the other side of that bridge
getting serious swedish culture shock at how widely available alcoholic drinks are in denmark, there's vodka alcopops right next to soda, feels like i'm constantly dodging bullets like in a danmaku
actually the roland store is too far away from the city centre for comfort, i think i might not be able to reach it with my ticket. loving the various music stores i've been to though, three so far!
visiting copenhagen for a day is so fun i am seriously questioning why i ever wanted to relocate to berlin
my incredibly tired (got up at 5am) ass buys food back in sweden, heart skips a beat seeing the price pop up on the card reader, then i remember SEK is worth 33% less than DKK
denmark is basically an elaborate prank upon swedish people because all the prices look really expensive when you look at the stickers, then you look at your bank statement and it's 50% worse than you thought
@hikari the part that really freaks me out is the people handing out product samples - in a grocery store
My mother even saw someone hand the cup to their young kid!
The attendant was too stunned to react in time and looked horrified
@deepy oh my god.
@hikari less furries, too
@Ninji it's too warm and sunny there they'd sweat to death
@hikari is it actually true that the danish will just, ride bikes, in the rain, holding an umbrella if necessary
(as opposed to raincoat, which would be the slightly more reasonable option)
