jump to expanded postsociety has really fallen when even old classic Beatles recordings are being re-released with vocals “pitch corrected” in post. is the music industry really this terrified of normal people hearing what human singing actually sounds like https://youtu.be/vpoeTGVo-6E
who the fuck wakes up in the morning and thinks that classic recordings, from a time long before human vocals could be “corrected”, that achieved legendary status, now must be fed into The Machine, that everyone in the preceding half century was wrong for liking it as it was?!!
hello we have decided that Shakespeare was bad actually. we've fixed the rhymes and the metre in the new edition with the help of AI. what do you mean you want the original. that was an Inferior Product why could you possibly want that
the ghouls who order this kind of shit are the folks you're supporting when you want copyright law to be made even stronger btw. the revolution will not be a licensed product
@hikari Funny thing about Shakespeare is that as far as metre is concerned, once in Macbeth he does put emphasis on the correct syllable in Dunsinane, but every other time it's wrong.
@hikari Now that I think about it, the correct metric syllable pattern for Dunsinane is exactly the same as the pattern for Verona.
@hikari Ugh. Yeah. It's depressing!
