tweeting just feels so inescapably performative, a distraction from the hard work of actually being something, and this kind of tweet is no exception. if it weren't for a handful of close friends and some kind of (questionable) legacy to preserve i'd've deleted my account already

with that out of the way: the reason i'm so… Like This lately is that sometimes a milestone in life comes along that forces you to confront your own complacency, and how it has compounded over a hauntingly long time, and you must urgently try to arrest the dying of the light
and that's not something you can post your way to doing
