one of my favourite things about guitar is just, when i've been playing for a while and then get distracted and just fidget with it in my hands, absent-mindedly, this often produces something musically interesting
there is so much you can do by barre-ing two strings into an inverted fifth and then selectively fretting/unfretting those same strings one to three frets up. i do it idly all the time and i think you could write incredible songs that do nothing but this
the guitar is just an absolutely god-tier instrument for improvisation and expressiveness holy hell
i'm convinced at this point that the guitar really is a fundamentally easier instrument to play fluently than any keyboard instrument can be
