there's this funny thing going on with my guitar arc where, right from the start, i refused to learn it pedagogically and just wanted to throw my very semitonepilled brain at the strings with no direction. half a year of little progress later i got fed up and bought actual books…
…and then like a week later, having not read either, suddenly my original plan starts working out in a big way, and now i don't want to read the books
@hikari tbh I think the guitar might be the most self-taught instrument of all time
