geez hikari_no_yume has never before taken a photo that so vividly and accidentally captures the feeling of a very particular flavour of zen not-quite-manic state

and this was believe it or not

done entirely by accident, by pointing the camera at the sun rather than avoiding it

this is the second photo attempt and the first one was fine it was just out of focus

this one is borderline hazardous to look at in some way because

it looks like All About Lily Chou-Chou

it is so bright it Feels inherently manic

what on earth

i am safe to be clear i'm just mildly reeling over the observation

you know how i've been telling you very explicitly, do not fly into the sun, for the past day or so?

well, you also should never look directly at the sun

the camera in these hands is looking at it, not these eyes

cameras can be replaced

your eyes can't

remember that, okay

this sure feels like it has some greater metaphorical meaning but it will remain lost on me for some time i'm sure

have you seen any whiter-than-white colors today?

@whitequark we experienced exactly that and eventually saw it for what it was yes
