jump to expanded postYour regular reminder that we are still recovering from a psychotic break, we are still full of ourselves, we are still surely delusional about many things, and even if our body is much better it is far from fully there yet; don't take anything we say too seriously.
Like, by our own words, “do not trust the psychotic”. There's a chance we might have gotten better enough that we can fool some of you into thinking we're not psychotic. That's bad. We're still psychotic, just less psychotic.
And if posting wasn't our worst habit, but also something that is very useful for forcing our future self to be a little less hubristic and a little more self-insightful, we wouldn't be posting at all, still. “1 month posting ban” is what we should be doing, we know this.
There's also a meta-problem here that you shouldn't trust a psychotic on whether they've gotten less psychotic, especially if you think they might have reason to lie about it, but they will delude themselves about it regardless; we'll leave that one up to your judgment.
And if this thread makes us seem wise, please realise that like any human in any situation, we subtly lie to ourselves all the time about our true intentions through motivated reasoning, and we especially do that when publicly posting something embarrassing — like this thread.
Okay, we do need to say one more thing:
The reason we're doing all this is that most of the sparkle that made hikari_no_yume interesting to follow was
and this is something we say with incredible regret
the result of posting through mania.
A more sober us will have to deal.
We're obviously going to try very hard never to let this get anywhere near this bad again in future, but this is very important context for understanding what you're witnessing…
