the gyakuten saiban (ace attorney) piano album is pretty calming
ah, these pieces are performed quite gently and slowly — probably by a solo pianist — compared to how they are in the game, it's really quite wonderful
“detention center ~elegy of the guard~” is quite moving in particular
the courtroom themes are really kind of… majestic, which is what you'd expect i suppose!
we already have such a great collection of music, why have we never been able to recognise that when it counted, sigh
a follower kindly reminded me of GYAKUTEN MEETS JAZZ SOUL so it's time to listen to peak again
does literally everything become better by rearranging it as jazz and, perhaps, eventually becoming part of jazz canon? scientists and musical philosophers continue to debate this — soundtracked by a delightful jazz arrangement of the phoenix wright “objection!” theme of course
