jump to expanded postat this point we strongly associate big city life with mania (not just for us, but in others, and as a fundamental part of the vibe somehow) and this makes us want to avoid it
it must sound manic in itself but the single biggest thing that makes us not regret living in a small swedish city again, rather than one of the capitals of the world, is that the sky feels so much closer to earth here. it's an immensely calming thing, being able to see the sky
big cities are places where you can easily lose yourself, and that's definitely a thing some people want or need, but the horror of it got to us in the end
