jump to expanded postโoh god it's 3am why am I up this lโ looks at clock oh good it's actually 2aโ NO IT ISN'T curse you european summer time
the worst thing is how there are two โ2amโs on the same day, as if we all experienced that hour and were sent back in time to experience it again, and it's impossible to distinguish them without using UTC or something. ๆใ ใฏๅใๆ้ใๆฐธ้ ใจใซใผใใใฆใใใฎใงใใ
this would be great for a weird murder alibi. this would happen in a columbo episode
@hikari little known fact: it's actually completely fine to be up at 3am. nothing bad will ever happen if you keep doing that
@whitequark well, wasting the little daylight I have by sleeping through it tends to be bad, and sometimes I have to do things on a schedule aligned with normal people
@hikari It's always weird being awake when the clocks roll forwards/back, forgetting about it, checking the clock and getting that odd sense that time is off.
When going forwards normally panic of "wait, did I zone out longer than I thought" and backwards that sense of "did I somehow fail to read the clock earlier, did I imagine already seeing this hour?"
Even when I do remember, it does feel odd. I'd say it also messes with my sleep pattern, but uh...I don't have a consistent one at the moment for it to disrupt (despite my 9-5 day job)
