haven't done anything to commemorate the holiday season yet this year, so on a whim i think we're gonna watch love live s1 with our gf
we last watched it 10.5 years ago
she has never watched it but is an avid rhythm gamer and played the mobile game every day until it died
gf is constantly being surprised at how, although she knows what's going to happen, the girls have emotions now (gacha game story delivery isn't great,,,)
love live episode 2 passes the musical realism test (the demo that maki sends honoka-tachi has what sounds like a synthesiser piano, which is contextually appropriate)
umi is a bit like mio…
we get to the first appearance of the alpacas and gf is like “ah, they're very important in the game. the white one gives normal experience and the brown one gives skill experience”
“though more specifically, the white alpaca is red”
