@hikari Learn the blues ("N bar blues" / blues chord progressions) as a starter, because it's very systemized and so it is like weights training for chord progression study

@mcc @hikari Seconded! Learn "the blues" (mostly a bunch of variations on 12-bar blues, but other values of N as well), then "rhythm changes" (all the variations on the chords for "I Got Rhythm" that form the basis about half of the 20th century American songbook) and you're most of the way there.
