Linux is great except for all the problems with:
- shutting down
- starting up
- going to sleep
- resuming from sleep
- doing anything at all
- displaying things on the screen without applying horrible scaling algorithms to them
- screen tearing
- audio output
I'm not very happy with people telling me these problems I have experienced aren't real
things have improved remarkably over the years but it's still a 90% working experience and that last 10% can be very hard to overlook when the honeymoon period is over
@hikari The screen tearing is fucking god awful . it was even worse with a high refresh panel and an NVIDIA card
