@hikari I think I remember reading reading that gcc does this too
ie. it's a two step process where the system's cc builds gcc and then it uses that built gcc to build itself over from scratch
@hikari Are Wine and Proton good enough to reliably run compilers, or is that one of the sore spots you alluded to in the Loss32 announcement?
@moses_izumi I don't know off-hand but I would guess compilers work more reliably than GUI apps
