se tele (hh middlepos) -> line6 m5 (smart harmony, maj pent, d#, +9th shift) -> big muff π (tone at 0) -> pathfinder 10 (overdrive, headphone out)
we have a line6 m5 because a friend wanted to get rid of her small pedal collection and it was among those, and for a while i've been kinda wanting to get rid of it, but it has a lot of fun effects, i should probably keep it
ah god it's the only thing we have that (currently at least) has a spring reverb effect on it. that's a huge deal!
gods the vox pathfinder 10 has an incredibly beautiful chimey clean channel (you're hearing the headphone out here, it's late at night i don't want to wake the neighbours)
and with the line6 m5's “'63 spring” effect it's… complete, oh goodness
these nylon jazz iii picks slip out of our fingers so easily when we're playing this hard, we will have to do that masking tape mod…
also we should probably switch pick already there's no way the edge on this still has the shape it's supposed to
we really need to set up continuous (and space-efficient…) recording of our practice sessions, we were rhythm guitar-ing out for a bit there… vox good. telecaster good. (fake digital) spring reverb good :)
