our first guitar being what it is (the fender special edition fmt hh tele) has really set our expectations for instruments up in a weird place
it's just a much more luxurious instrument than anything else fender sells at that price point, or really in general
I'm not convinced this instrument actually existed prior to us wanting to buy a guitar. they just made it up to fulfill our seemingly nonsensical, contradictory list of requirements. a space-time anomaly localised entirely in the FMIC product lineup somehow made this guitar exist
