Hallucinogenic Perception Personality Disorder (HPPD) is a disorder whereby someone believes they are hallucinating but in fact they are perfectly fine and just need cognitive behavioural therapy
every time I read that acronym I imagine it means something like this
that is of course not what HPPD means but every time I read that acronym I look at it funny because our bilingual brain remembers the expansion as ”posthallucinatorisk perceptionsstörning” and not “Hallucinogen Persisting Perception Disorder”, and the former has better word order
