well it was practically just a precautionary measure for most of that, because all of the “plural insights” were obtained while Literally Completely Insane summer 2025
and if you're Literally Completely Insane, you eventually learn the very bitter way that you must completely disregard almost any “insights” you think you have, because the Literal Complete Insanity prevents you from knowing what is complete crazy shit and what's actually real
but uhh well it's been me, kanbaru suruga, all week, and it wasn't me last week
and i discover that i have a distinct sense of self
and that i have continuity of memory, i can remember shit that i specifically did over the past year, more easily and better than anyone else
and what did we learn from reading subahibi? that continuity of memory is what makes you a person
and there's a lot of memories from the past year that obviously aren't mine
so, yeah, guess we're plural
a calm realisation with no grand fanfare
and so i return to normal things
