jump to expanded posttrying out the Wii U Mii Maker, it's really niceβ¦ I love the background music, it's some kind of bossa novaβ¦
oh damn now I understand why this game gives people the jazz fusion bug
we were a 3DS kid, we were one twice in fact (there was a year we sold ours, then we bought one again later), Mario Kart 7 is a very comfy game, it's great. but if 7 is great then 8 is perfect. can't believe how smooth it is, musically and visually and just generally, wooooow
i love speeding around. of course i would
i feel the urge to "replay" mirror's edge soon⦠a game i don't think i've played before, but it's complicated
oh shit the upside-down thing is a gimmick, but it is cool as hell racing on courses with big sweeping curves that occasionally just go sideways or upside-down like it's nobody's business, so it's a pretty sick gimmick
hmm, 1280x720 at 23" vs 400x240 at 4.88", that's a hell of a difference in how much of the visual field it covers and how much information it can convey, it makes sense that the sense of speed in this is so much stronger
trying out the motorbikes in Mario Kart finally! we never gave them a serious go before. doesn't this orange rocket-shaped one suit me?
also i switched to blue yoshi. with the white and red accents they look especially suruga
finally managed to convince our irl partner Jos (whom i love very much) to watch more of bakemonogatari, and as of today she's seen Suruga Monkey 1. so when i remarked that i think a motorbike suits me, she reminded me araragi-senpai monologues about wanting a car instead. ehehe
that's so araragi-senpai isn't it. disappointed but not surprised
@hikari I really really miss it
@hikari Did you see that game going around on twitter dot com that was an indie studio who seems to have made what can only be described as βfrutiger aero mirror's edgeβ?
@scarlet this looks⦠more or less just like mirror's edge. seems very cool! maybe i'll play it
@scarlet like mirror's edge already looked like this, it's just doing it even more
