oh yeah re: blood orange. a short while after posting this (and already having drank all the juice), a close friend who I would trust near-absolutely on these matters messaged with me the following quite stern warning:

it seems plausible that there could be similar bad interactions between blood orange and various drugs as there are with the infamous grapefruit. i don't think there's much high-quality evidence out there on this topic, if any, but there are some things to say it might be true

so yeah, i won't be drinking any more blood orange juice any time soon, just as a precaution. those just happened to be in the fridge since like two weeks ago, and i hadn't consumed it at any other time recently, nor did i plan to, and i didn't know of the connection til too late
