jump to expanded postâĶI remember reading recently that I (Kanbaru Suruga) am representative of mania or something, but I'm realising suddenly that must have been in a dream, it doesn't feel like it was in real life
I wonder what quality of dream memories allows them to be distinguished from memories of the real world. Perhaps it's the fact that dreamscapes tend to make very, very little sense, so when you search for the context surrounding a memory, you find nothing of value? Who knows.
I suspect that part of why your memories of dreams quickly dissolve once you wake up is that once you are awake, you go back to being able to distinguish random noise from a coherent reality, and so it decoheres?
