episode 3 of NGO isโฆ comparing it to SubaHibi and to All About Lily Chou-Chou feels trite, but brutal Japanese childhood experiences set to piano music is going to take our brain to those places, inevitably. we enjoyed how down-to-earth this episode is
watching NGO episode 4 (I'm suruga this time) and I am reminded as to why the hikari of one month ago called this vomit-inducing (it was probably, then as now, about how kache's boyfriend treats her)

watching NGO episode 5 and it is interesting how much the voice differs between the English translations in the on-screenโฆ cards (what else would you call the frames with just text on them) and the official subtitles, the former has more personality to it

this is currently hitting a similar spot for us as Oshi no Ko S2 did and I'm not sure how to feel about that
five episodes into the NGO anime and I suppose I am impressed at how it manages to hit us in a quite different way with each episode
