the fact that social media as we knew it is so dead that we can be cringe constantly without consequences is definitely something that gives us mixed feelings
we have three thousand, two hundred and fifty three followers on X, the everything app, and we can apparently be quite open about the whole plurality and fictives thing and even the nature of some of our mental health issues and nobody cares whatsoever, it's hard to believe
I guess the site now only consists of a handful of real ones who stick around for the love of the game, together with a vast ocean of people who no longer have attention spans, drifting lost forever, and now 99% of your following is the latter, so the numbers become meaningless
coming after us for being cringe would require having a long enough attention span to realise exactly why we are cringe and how you could actually hurt us with that in the first place, and nobody has that now. tweets are engaged with in total isolation now. site's dead i'm afraid
