imagine a world where people cared more about preventing child abuse than they do about protestant thoughtcrimes
imagine a world where people believed that it is the sexual assault that is the harm and not the fact that the assailant, in our imagination, had to have had sinful thoughts in their mind
the true abomination onto god is not that there are monsters who do horrible things to eachother on this earth, it is that checks notes sometimes the victims thereof have sinful thoughts afterwards and won't repent for this
the value of your soul is weighed not by the actual impact of your actions on others, but by the purity of your imagination. any physically or socially violent action that manifestly makes the world worse is overlooked for a Good Person, but imagining violence? you must die
@hikari But Hikari (Kanbaru?), that would reuqire us to actually think about and confront the realities and complexities of it. That’s emotionally uncomfortable for me, personally, lets just do the thoughtcrime thing instead.
