the fact Sweden is marking this year's national day by cancelling ~100,000 pending citizenship applications that have been in the queue for years and making it impossible to reapply for citizenship in certain situations for an indefinite period… makes me ashamed to be a citizen
this country has many things going for it but let nobody tell you that it is still Olof Palme's socialist paradise
we're also heading into an election in September that, one can only hope, will not be won on fucking petrol subsidy populism. I don't want another 4 years of horribly short-sighted blue-brown coalition governance
