The way stores in Denmark will have soft drinks and then, right next to them in the same refrigerator, vodka alcopops, will never fail to send our Swedish selves reeling…
Even by British standards this must be lax, right? In any case, we find a world where strong alcohol can only be bought at Systembolaget comfortable.
@hikari having lived in Denmark for a short while, the alcohol sale and promotion in normal grocery stores gave me whiplash
Like why are they giving out promotional samples of hard liquor in a grocery store? A normal grocery store!
@hikari I think Systembolaget/Vinmonopolet is the right way to do it. I wish the Norwegian government never opened up for alcohol sale in grocery shops.
