it is rather funny that this ridiculous little supercut did eventually prove to have the tiniest bit of value, in its own way, on this journey of recovery
columbo thread (have been slowly watching it with gf since june 2022, haven't publicly tweeted about it before? this thread will probably be kinda boring, the purpose is mostly to track what episodes have been watched and if they're good; no livetweeting here alas)
chinese is probably easy to learn if you already know english and japanese, assuming you can cope with the pronunciation⦠grammatically it's like a half-way house between those two languages, and the script is actually a lot less complicated than japanese's
OK, that's enough bearing the world on our back for one day, time to disappear for a bit for our own goodβ¦
Ah, there is a huge technical dream of ours (that a few of you may know of) β of the operating system variety β that we might have figured out how we can make happen without it killing us (we can't carry three worlds on our back, two is already too much).

βDe Surpriseβ (2015) is a really wonderful film, only 30 minutes into rewatching it but there's lots of little moments in it that make you, you know, glad to be alive? Very strong recommendation.
the harrowing experience of learning the difference between knowing and Knowing
holy shit Circumstances have suddenly made us massively better at guitar, and it's not because of any magic happening in our brain, not at all, it's that we're tired of thinking and are not trying to think about what we're doing, and so we just Play, we have Flow, y'know?
