hi everyone
since i’ve been doing twitch streams a bunch lately, the really bad noise floor of my current mic has been bothering me
if i want a better microphone for streaming and don’t want to spend more than about 100€, what should i buy?
i don’t necessarily care if it’s 3.5mm, XLR or USB, but since i do not have an XLR setup, the cost of that would need to be included
what I ended up buying:
• Razer Seiren Mini (629 SEK at MediaMarkt)
• generic desk-mounted microphone stand (219 SEK from Kjell och Company, article number 24034)
total cost 848 SEK (~77 EUR at current prices)
I’m pretty happy with the results! the recording quality is decent and it sounds like me. I need to get some kind of additional vibration isolation though if I’m gonna be doing a lot of mouse and keyboard usage while streaming.
