“Steamed Hams but it was banned in the USSR” is, of course, yet another play on that goddamn Simpsons sketch, but… it’s so high-effort, so lovingly crafted, so well-executed, it’s… transcendent.

…how had I forgotten that I had watched Glass Harmonica before, and how does it not have an English Wikipedia page?
well, I’ve now ensured it’s mentioned on the page about the instrument, at least. I’m not entirely sure if the instrument in that film is the instrument the page describes, but the basic concept seems similar enough
