jump to expanded postpersonal change is a funny thing. it would be easy for me to say i haven't changed at all in half a decade, but it's not true. when i came up with the current version of my personal myth like six years ago, i don't think i actually believed it, but now, maybe i doβ¦

@hikari I think twitter bio is a bit reductive. The whole process of adopting a name, a handle, more generally, is tracing a path toward that ideal.

as a handle is imbued with a lot of meaning that i'm still discovering
@neauoire another thing that's part of this βmythβ, i guess, is that the website i put up, https://hikari.noyu.me/, has this flying stars effect i'm really proud of, using WebGL. it's sort of a way to show off my graphics programming skills, but in truth, it was actually the first time i'd successfully written anything non-trivial in OpenGL β the skill i was demonstrating was one i had only acquired by the process of demonstrating it. and it ended up being useful in my career!
