wait… in order for deterrence to work, early detection of nuclear strikes is necessary, which means… sending an ICBM towards another country with a conventional payload on it could, by itself, trigger nuclear armageddon?
the workers on the line at the icbm factory have the opportunity to do the funniest thing ever

it can just be a dummy load. intercontinental ballistic paperweight and it’ll still trigger the early warning systems won’t it
