suddenly very curious how bad the amp simulations on 1990's general midi modules with guitar inputs were

yamaha's did, yeah! one of the defining features of the MU series. the QY100 has one also
i have what are probably some of the earlier versions of these simulations that i can play with, but not with a real guitar, just with the internal synthesis, which is obviously more than a bit limiting.
okay so now i have another excuse for getting a MU100…
